Notice: Fixes for the following CVEs:

are included in the 0.2.4.1 stable release and most recent nightly releases.

There are two general classes of releases: Stable and Nightly. Stable releases are older releases, with a longer history of stability and reliability. If you want to install Firefly and don't want to have to mess with it, stable releases are for you.

On the other hand, if you want to live life on the edge and work with a server with the newest, shiniest features, (or want to run on a Windows platform!), then you'll want to use nightlies.

While every attempt is made to ensure that the nightly builds aren't completely broken, they aren't well tested -- they are the results of hacking for features, not for stability. It's not only possible, but likely you will find bugs or problems. By running nightlies and reporting those bugs to the forums, however, you help stabilize the server for everyone.
